The Langollen Canal was everything we had heard about and more!! The journey from ABC Hire at Wrenbury Mill to the Llangollen Basin and back was scenic, peaceful and everyone was friendly and helpful. We picked a wonderful week - the weather was exceptional - but I think even in the chillier months, the canal would be stunning.

The service was first class. The boat was extremely good and the inventory was well thought about - we had everything we needed for the week. A minor hiccup was dealt with efficiently and fast even though it was a Sunday and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our holiday was an absolute joy and we would certainly chose ABC Hire again.

Excellent service a great bunch especially Lee They gave us great instruction and directions with tips on stops ( pubs) They even looked after our car when they realised we had left a window open

A great boat, really helpful staff and perfect cruising weather. From Blackwater Meadow Marina we were able to explore both the Montgomery and Llangollen canals. ABC staff were really welcome and helpful both before and during the trip.

ABC were so easy to arrange our holiday with offering quick responses to any queries we had both before and during our trip. The boat was well equipped with good quality linen, pillows, duvets and towelling. Additional provisions were made available for three very young children travelling with us. The induction was good and provided a great understanding of the boat and boating. Additionally we were blessed with 7 days of wall to wall sunshine in early April allowing us to have a stunning holiday.

We have hired many narrow boats in the past, some good, some not so good, but we can honestly say that this was the best we have hired, five star+, the boat was very well kitted out, it was well maintained, the staff were excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable, we would definitely recommend ABC boat hire and would not hesitate to book with them again in the future. We had the best holiday.
