The staff were friendly and helpful. The narrow boat was clean and everything was provided including tea and coffee . We had a brilliant time.

Consistently good across the eight different hire bases we have used for our eleven holidays with ABC. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient handover. Boats are always prepared to a high standard. We have always been made welcome at other ABC bases along the route for pump-outs, refuelling and dealing with any minor issues.

We did 4 nights from Gailey to Stone and back and the boat was of a lovely standard with everything you could need. We had a slight problem with the engine starter noise (it kept constantly beeping!) but the staff were very helpful and friendly to sort this for us. We will definitely book with ABC again.

The route along the Kennet and Avon was dangerous in part as the Rivers were in spate. There is minimal mooring along the Thames. There is no warning of the potential problem of Tyle Mill Lock for boats over 60'.

Great start off location to explore K&A canal, boat of high spec however couple of items: no provision for recycling of refuse one bin and no reference to the provision back at base, no obvious place for drying of bath towels for 4 adults, poor provision for drying of wet outdoor clothing for 4 adults

Friendly welcoming staff on arrival Staff who were knowledgeable and explained the boat workings both for housekeeping and technical at handover. As this was a replacement boat due to a canal stoppage this was handled by the team very professionally and quickly and did not impact our get away
