We have hired many narrow boats in the past, some good, some not so good, but we can honestly say that this was the best we have hired, five star+, the boat was very well kitted out, it was well maintained, the staff were excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable, we would definitely recommend ABC boat hire and would not hesitate to book with them again in the future. We had the best holiday.

The boat had everything we needed . It was warm at night, shower always hot . We topped up with water part way through the holiday (one week just the two of us on a six berth) Oven very reliable. Normal size fridge . Beds very comfy. Exceptional clean , and modern . Options of different routes and obviously you can do as much or as little as you want as long as you can get back to the Marina for 9.30am. Helped us with the initial hand over chat about locks and mooring knots .

We have recently return from a weeks boat hire from Nantwich Marina. Very good communication from us booking the holiday . They recommended their app, and books and videos to watch to help get ready for the adventure. The app gave a lovely countdown to the holiday . Approximately one week before the holiday they got in touch to double check the layout we had chosen. Very friendly and helpful. We ran into a little problem with the rope on our first day, and they came out to us within an hour. Couldn’t fault their service.

The llangollen canal is a great place to go, a great introduction to the canals.
