The trip overall was good. Some difficulty mooring where we wanted to due to live aboard boats taking up all the good moorings. Stakes were not good enough no loops and very old. Vacuum cleaner was not very good and hose provided on vacuum cleaner did not fit. Housekeeping handover was fine but technical handover lacked information about capacity of tanks and local knowledge of available services on the canal.

The service provided by ABC Boat Hire was outstanding from start to finish. Staff at the marina (Springhaven Wood) were amazing from their warm welcome, to helping in every way to ensure our boat was ready on time, cleaned to the highest standard and making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect holiday.

It's hard to put into words that fully explain how great this experience was.. The staff at ABC were fantastic - friendly, patient and helpful. The boat was well set up and we thoroughly enjoyed our week long trip to Llangollen. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of undertaking this experience and I wouldn't hesitate recommending ABC to help you achieve it.

Flutist Wren is a great boat, just the right size for 2 adults with 2 dogs. It is well equipped and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed travelling along the Coventry and Oxford canals. There was plenty of beautiful countryside to see and enjoy. Some really good places to visit and great pubs/restaurants to eat in.

ABC boat hire was fabulous. From the initial booking to the return of the boat, we were well communicated with, well informed and well supported throughout. Bay Wren was equipped, clean and well presented and just perfect for our week long cruise for 3. Special bouquets for George and Will.
