What an amazing experience. Cannot fault it from start to finish. Lovely friendly and organised welcome at reception and from our 'guide' on the boat. Lots of useful, clear and relevant information given in a very friendly but professional way about the boat and our trip. Boat was absolutely spotless with everything you could possibly need for a day trip. Boat was great to handle by all of us. Welcome back was very friendly and encouraged feedback about the trip. Would definitely encourage others to use them and hopefully we'll be back

The boat we had this time was the "Flutist Wren" which suited the two of us very well and would be happy to recommend. As we are of advancing years(!) we first went up the Ashby canal, which has no locks, then returned past the base and as far as Fazeley Junction and back to base. At least we had a total of 26 locks to remind us how to do it. Very enjoyable!

Staff were super friendly, welcoming and gave us first timers a lesson before we set off. The boat itself contained everything you could possibly want. The only downside is that we would have liked it to last longer. It's not the cheapest of holidays, but there is nothing like it!

We had a wonderful time with ABC boat hire, all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Very thorough with teaching us how to use the boat, recommending routes and places to stop etc. when we had any queries whilst on the boat, they were just a call away and always positive and easy to talk to or get advice from. Boat had everything you could need and more on, very well equipped. We had a great time and would 100% recommend and use again!

We loved our week on the Monmouth & Brecon Canal. The staff at Goytre Wharf were very friendly and helpful, giving us a thorough explanation of how everything worked, the boat was comfortable and the galley was well equipped. We were blessed with wonderful weather which enhanced the stunning scenery.
