The people who work there are absolutely fabulous. Really helpful and supportive (of a first time nervous skipper). They absolutely cannot be faulted. The boats toilet however wasn't big enough for a hamster. You could not shut the door. Not great when you're with people you don't know extremely well! The boat, apart from that was fine. Basic but great for a day. The canal needs dredging as it was easy to get stuck on the mud, but it was a lovely day and the staff were fantastic.

Up the Falkirk Wheel and the cruising to Edinburgh was fantastic. The Glasgow end needs lots of pre-booking so less "easy-going" than other canals that we have done. The Falkirk marina has basic provision only (parking is about it) but is only for collection and return. Pubs all the way along both canals and plenty of places to stop.

This is our third holiday with ABC. Boat as always clean and ready to go on time with all expected equipment on board. Lots of information for planning the trip ahead of time (including what we needed to book with the Canals Trust). A lovely relaxing week!
