Very impressed with the boat but could not get any t.v. reception (in fairness, not unusual) but having checked remote control found the batteries needed replacement. Only other slight problem was the pull down settee opposite the table had a pin missing on one side and could not be used comfortably. Overall we were very pleased with the boat and facilities.

Overall an excellent experience only let down by WiFi problems and a faulty water pump giving a variable shower temperature

Mechanically the boat worked well. The heating system was inefficient, one radiator not working and the other two struggled to raise the temperature. The radio did not work. The TV remote control had faulty enter and scroll buttons rendering the set inoperative. WiFi did not work after first day. Intermittent spotlight over table. Some indicators missing on engine control panel.

Excellent narrowboat. Efficient friendly and helpful marina staff. Falkirk wheel was impressive and the Kelpies were simply stunning. The Scottish Canals staff were great especially the volunteers who helped us through the fourteen locks down to the Kelpies in record time as we wanted to do the Kelpies internal tour before they closed that day.

I cooked for the first 8 days of our holiday, roasts, ect and found that the kitchen was very well equipped, the shower was very acceptable, the heating was perfect for the varied weather that we had, it kept us warm and toasty after getting wet through, have to say that the wet suits let the water through, but there was an umbrella, we had a most enjoyable holiday, the welcome tea, coffee and biscuit was a lovely touch, all in all a very well equipped boat, and will be using them again in 2021. thank you.

The boat was old and a bit dated. The heating didn't work very well and not at all at the end of our trip.

Thank you for your feedback. We do advise customers to contact the marina if they are experiencing any technical problems with their boat, as in most cases the problem can be resolved over the phone. The service from start to finish was excellent. Dropped a star only because the boat is a little care-worn now. Didn't interfere with our enjoyment though.
