Wonderful Boat. Tip-top condition. We did a weekend cruise through to Great Haywood and back. We had a fantastic meal at the Moat House (Acton Trussel) on the eve of Day One; a canal side DIY BBQ on the eve of Day two and headed for a Chinese on a final return leg. The showers and toilets on hoard (vital on a boat of mixed company) were fully functional and Terrifically clean! Plus the folks at the boat yard could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Excellent.

A brilliant family holiday on a well equipped narrow boat sexpliring the Union Canal, which started and ended with journeys on the Falkirk Wheel and included two days at the Edinburgh Fringe.

I would recommend a narrow boat holiday to anyone who is looking for an activity holiday, and especially from Goytre Wharf, which is on the Monmouth and Brecon canal. The countryside is breathtaking, and the pubs, and villages are easily accessible from the toe path. And I must say the food from all of the pubs we visited was outstanding. The fish and chip shop in Gilwern is an absolute must. The staff at the Wharf are extremely friendly, and because our party were traveling by train, they were more than willing to receive a food order, and put it all away before we arrived! There is a lovely little coffee shop there, and also a few souvenirs in the reception. We are already looking at booking up for next year.

Cracking little break' boats are comfy, only downside was never had a call regarding the return of boat and diesel But lovely break absolutely recommended

We had a lovely time on Imperial Eagle. The service was great and the boat was pretty good. I'm giving it four stars rather than five because I felt that the boat could have been slightly better designed, especially in terms of a bit more storage space (or more user-friendly storage space) and the dinette was a bit of a faff to assemble and make up as it was a slightly odd shape. They're minor gripes and we had a great time. The staff at ABC were really great though - both at Alvechurch which was where we picked the boat up from - and also at the Marina in Worcester where we spent a night and they helped us out with a minor repair, filling up with water and mooring up.
