Boat performed well, Water authority dropped the water level on way back and we "bottomed out" mid-canal on numerous occasions as well as getting stuck in the mud along side of canal to allow others to pass by. Location of "safe" was not found where we were told. Cushions for forward bed do not make for a good base to sleep.

Thank you for your feedback, for the last few weeks the canal water levels have been particularly low in this area. We are not sure if there was a short term issue or whether the flow was reduced because of low rainfall; we have not received any notifications to confirm either way. The marina manager has confirmed that levels now seem to be back to normal. We hope you enjoyed your holiday overall and we look forward to welcoming you in again in the future.

It was a marvellous experience, our first time on a canal boat, Darren took his time to explain everything to us and even came with us as far as the first bridge to make sure we were okay. The boat was clean, tidy with perfectly adequate equipment for our holiday and the weather was glorious.

Everything was so well organised and it was a lovely stretch of the canal down to Bath and back. On top of that, the weather was glorious.

The admin prior to the day was excellent. The handover on the day was really informative, speedy and helpful. If you are taking more than one car let them know so they can reserve spaces. This wasn't made clear for us and with a beer festival on, the yard was pretty full. Accommodation on the boat was clean and comfortable. We expressed concern over the fridge, at handover and a replacement was found without hassle. All very recommendable. Thanks ABC.
