Overall a well appointed boat. The only issue was the design of the stern, where the arc of the tiller often got in the way of the crew member taking/getting off with the centre rope

We are very satisfied with abc, but this is an old and very scratched boat. We had the same one in 2015. We are probably just fuzzy because the boat worked well. And we will definitely use the firm again next time.

Had a wonderful 2 week holiday on the Warwick ring and Stratford Canal. It was nearly disaster however as the boat we had booked had a sewage tank leak which was very obvious during the briefing. We eventually were moved to a different (much bigger) boat and left the yard about 2 hours later than intended. Whilst it was great that the boatyard changed the boat we shouldn't have been in this position as it was our insistence that initiated the change. The Emperor Goose was well used and there were a number of faulty or damaged things on the boat. The battery was very weak and had it not been for a warm June would have caused problems.

Although the boat was reasonably comfortable, it lacked one or two cooking utensils; a few more cushions wouldn't have come amiss.

No problems except for no tv reception all week, we don't expect too much when on a boat but can usually tune in to some stations.
