Was insufficient tuition in how to pull away from side etc and made for a difficult start & end to our ‘holiday.’ Didn’t appreciate having to buy maps at inflated price either. Boat was well equipped but the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever had the misfortune to ‘sleep in.’

Thank you for your feedback. It is disappointing to hear that you found the bed on Sigrid uncomfortable and that you felt that certain aspects of your handover were insufficient. The books/maps in our Marina Shops are sold at the RRP on the back of the book as we do encourage all of our customers to purchase one for their holiday. We have hired boats every year for many years now and we were really impressed with the quality of the boat. The finishes, equipment, facilities and sleeping arrangements were without doubt the best we have seen - very clean and couldnt ask for more. the canal itself was stunning. many thanks - we will definitely be back

Very good boat in terms of layout, storage, and responsive boat to steer etc. Staffs and Worcester a lovely canal. We missed having carpets and the boat seemed quite old and when we arrived the non carpeted floors were still wet from being washed so a bit utilitarian feel initially. We had a great week however and the layout and storage was very good. Heating good. Cooker slow (as all are). We thought the second bench at the table was brilliant in terms of putting up and down ( just needed a back cushion). All in all very very good week. Helped by very good weather!
