Super friendly staff, wimpy WiFi Coming from overseas we didn't have a UK phone and were planning on using the WiFi to communicate. We were connected to the WiFi, but never got any internet.

Boatyard staff very friendly and helpful. We had a canal closure on our last day which could not be helped, but scuppered our last day. Staff provided great service and helped make the situation better. They were also fine about our slightly burnt tea towel and missing nappy pin. On the down side the boat was pretty old and it's kitchen had poor storage. The boat seemed to lean to the left slightly and there was a very bad smell from the front toilet on the boat throughout the week. We suspected this was caused by a leak as no matter how many times we wiped the floor it was always wet the next time you checked.

We had a lovely week on our canal boat. The boat was well equipped and the heating and shower were excellent. Shame the beds weren't more comfortable.

We have had a lovely time boated for many years now and this was one of the best weeks , the boat was clean and comfortable and the style we have had before but this one was a newer model , ABC do listen as the things I ask for are now in this boat, thanks

Better than anticipated (quality of boat and inclusions). No problems throughout. The Jack Mytton pub was not open despite advice to the contrary so check opening days before passing the first pub heading west. Television was static-y on occasions when we actually had signal. But the radio worked really well. There was more space than we were anticipating and lots of appliances (plates, toaster, cups etc) which was great.

The boat was all that we expected...clean and warm and well equipped. The bedding was especially lovely. If we could have changed anything it would be that the sofa/bed arrangement was not so creaky. We think I it is where the wood rested on wood? Those that slept there had to keep still to prevent waking everyone up. Also, those that were driving the boat found it quite unresponsive at times. Overall though, we had a good time.

The route was lovely.Minor differences to barge than previous years which did not benefit the barge. Overall a good week. On second to last day we sadly experienced a engine fire which was delt with professionaly by the engineer. There was no follow up contact by management of the company considering the seriousness of the fault that caused the fire which is very disapointing considering the engineer did say we was very lucky. Overall it was a good week

great experience. only the pick-up times (after 2:30 pm) and and return times (by 9am) are a bit inconvenient since it effectively reduces the time on the boat by a day. Late morning pick up/ late afternoon return would be better

The boat was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The training was excellent but by far the stand out feature was the people who work on the canals. Everyone was so friendly and keen to help.
