It was a great holiday in a well prepared and comfortable boat. Thoroughly recommended. The mainz phoned to say the boat would be ready for us early which meant we could unlod and get on our way in very good time. A few hours makes a big difference to how far you can get.

Unfortunatly the Toilet leaked and wet the carpets. Tom could not find the leak and it seemed to correct itself after being diturbed.

The whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish. The website is easy to use and booking online straightforward. That said on this occasion I had trouble using my credit card and rang the office. The lovely lady sorted it out for me in a friendly and efficient manner. The boat was exactly as shown on the website and pick up and drop off went very smoothly.

Although the narrow boat was clean in boarding every pot had to be washed before use to remove the remnants of food.

The boat was comfortable, clean and surprisingly spacious. The galley had lots of good quality equipment and utensils and plenty of storage. The beds were comfy with good bedlinen and lots towels.

No problems with the boat during the holiday. Staff were friendly and picking up the boat and dropping it off again went smoothly with no fuss.

Our welcome at the base was very friendly and all was explained well. We having taking narrow boat holidays for over 30 years now but always welcome an update. The boat was comfortable and mechanically performed well. When we had occasion to phone an engineer with a small problem he was most helpful and sorted it out over the phone.

Great customer service and information at the point of booking. Well appointed boat, good tuition and support for first timers. Boat sleeps 10 but we were seven adults so was spacious and roomy. Really great route out of Rugby with lots of locks and tunnels. Highly recommended.

The boat was fantastic and we had a great week. Hand ove r of boat at each end of the week was just right and carried out in a freindly and helpful way. Only suggestion to make it even better, is that the permanently fitted double bed comfort, could be improved by firmer mattress and may be more space . (But I expect this may be unrealistic in a barge). All in all a great experience thank you to all at Whitchurch Marina.
