Everything on the boat was as we were informed that it would be. Staff responded immediately when we had to call them about a couple of issues, and these were promptly dealt with. Shame about the weather though!

Immersive experience;Boat was almost-as-new as were crockery, cutlery, bedding etc - and Scottish Canals staff were friendly, encouraging, and very helpful

Absolutely brilliant holiday for from start to finish. The boat was great and had much more room than we imaged also spotless and great toilet and shower. Staff working at the marina were very helpful.

Lost one star as boat layout coukd have been better. Galley area rather tricky to use with doors awkward to open. Saloon seating uncomfortable, sest too narrow.

The boat was clean and well maintained. Despite bad weather we had a super time. Getting away from everything is a top priority for us and we certainly did on the Llangollen canal. The heating on the boat was essential and worked well, but could have been a bit warmer on some nights. Condensation was a problem.

The holiday was great. The weather wasn't as good as in previous years and the shower was ropey - wouldn't stay at the right height. Staff were amazing as always at ABC. We felt well prepared for using the boat and locks compared to some other hirers from other yards. The duvets kept falling off the top bunks, but the kids didn't want to use the sleeping bags, so some broken sleep! I think I'd get a smaller boat another time - 70ft is very long, but that's my steering and no reflection on ABC!
