Was surprised at how busy the Llangollen canal was and how overgrown in places effectively limiting to one way working. A Canal and River Trust employee said the the vegetation issue was due to the shortage of water preventing maintenance craft accessing, but to me the growth dated from far before this summers "drought".

Really enjoyed the trip. The Mon and Brec is different to other canals, very narrow and shallow, be prepared to use the poles! Four adults and two teenagers had a good trip, all the boat facilities worked well.

The staff at Worcester Marina were excellent knowledgeable kind and helpful. The canal boat was modern, comfortable and well designed. I have been canal boating with ABC for 26 years they have never let me down.

Went to Stratford via Grand Union, and back via North Stratford canal. We think that the canal is ot being maintained as well as it should be.
