The boat was clean and well maintained, with friendly, helpful staff on hand to give all the assistance needed. The canals and rivers trust staff were called on when we encountered a lock gate that wouldn’t close fully. They attended the incident within 30 minutes, and were a friendly helpful team too. The change of pace of a canal cruise, the fun of dealing with 200+ year old technology, and the great pubs along the way made it a memorable holiday.
