Support staff were excellent and explained everything very well before we started. The boat was well appointed with everything we would need. Unfortunately the beds were very hard and uncomfortable and so we returned a day early to the marina.

See my comments above. Also would have been good to have some dial/indicator to tell us what water and fuel we had left. The pull down seat was hard to pull down and the screw fell out during our hire. We managed to fix it but whilst I was holding the seat up for my son to fix I had my face close to the seat. It was not very clean smelling. I believe that all the material seats needed a deep clean.

Lovely location travelling to Llangollen and Montgomery canal The only point worth making is that double beds should have double mattress, not 2 single butted together, a good night sleep is essential on a boating holiday

Everything except the WiFi was wonderful. The boat was great and in good condition and worked well. The WiFi however needed to be reconnected every use which was a pain and then it packed up completely

Boat was everything we expected, only one small thing, the Wi-Fi was rubbish, continually dropping out and having to enter all the details again and again was a pain.

Perfect size boat for a small family, with everything you need to make your trip as comfortable as possible, opt for the double bed option instead of the two singles and don’t let your 10year convince you there be better in that bed..

Excellent welcome when we arrived and shown the boat, quite a lengthy intro about the boat taking into account we are fully experienced having boated for years and also ran hire boats ourselves. We do appreciate maybe you feel everyone should be dealt with the same.

We were impressed by the interior and cleanliness of capped heron. The exterior was well maintained and looked good on the river. As first timers, Paul at Gayton marina gave us an excellent induction which gave us the confidence to set sail. We remembered everything he said !!
