We got the impression that the turnaround had been a bit rushed, as the pump out and water caps had not been replaced. It became apparent, during the week, that the front toilet lacked the blue additive to reduce smells. This was sorted when we were passing Hilperton as few days later.

Another excellent holiday with abc. Boat was clean and tidy and the route we took had the most beautiful views. Will definitely be booking again. Staff were also very friendly and helpful

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcomed. Our overall experience with ABC was fantastic. The narrow boat was perfect and catered for our wonderful getaway on the Llangollen canal.

Excellent customer service. The boat Cactus Wren was spacious for two. Showing its age a little. Engine very loud on tickover and the rear cockpit design was not the most comfortable on the tiller. Union Canal above Falkirk was very choked with floating reeds in places. But the staff of the boat company and the canals were all lovely.

Took my first ever canal holiday by hiring from Springwood Marina in Nuneaton. Being my first time I was not sure what to expect but found extremely helpful and friendly staff on hand to ease any nerves I may have had. First went through a very thorough safety brief and tour of the boat and then it was out of the marina for test run to show that myself and my friend could handle a 47ft narrow boat. When everyone was happy that we could control and operate the boat safely it was off on one of the best holidays I have had.
