The boat was great and the staff were friendly and efficient. The Falkirk Wheel was stunning, an amazing piece of engineering. The Canals were quite and relaxing.

Very enjoyable trip despite the weather! Facilities were generally very good though the single beds were challenging to sleep on.

We had a great holiday aboard Wilson's Plover - we would do it all over again in a heartbeat - despite the fridge break down (this was sorted very quickly in Ellesmere by Grant), then the hot water pump was replaced in Llangollen by Richard who is a absolute credit to ABC Boat Hire. He is super polite, efficient and a wealth of knowledge. What a pleasure it was to be aboard Wilson's Plover the boat was immaculate and had everything that we needed.

The boat was great, but the Scottish Union Canal and the facilities along the towpath were not as good as we had expected.

Having paid quite an amount of money, we did not expect to be told to sanitise just about everything in the boat ourselves! However the holiday was good, the boat served its purpose adequately with comfortable beds and sufficient equipment and space for 6 people and their baggage etc.
