Pity about the weather, we had a lovely time. Bristol was great. The Bath Thermal Spa Bath was a disappointment.the wifi connection on the boat should be explained in the shop to all the party.

Great Fun Holidau Toilet occasionally was a problem as sometimes didn’t flush adequately and needed to use several flushes. Shower was great but difficult to cool the water down on occasions. Would have liked curtains in the bedroom area to be a little more light excluding as once it got light ( 5-6am) it was difficult to sleep even though we were so tired

Very enjoyable holiday despite the rain and wind experienced on a few days of the holiday. We had technical problems with the boat on 2 occasions, but thanks to the technician Paul, no major inconvenience occurred. Paul was excellent, coning out at 11pm to change batteries - hats off to him! The Mon & Brec canal is superb - only negative is the restricted mooring places due to the shallowness of the canal, but don't let this put you off if you are considering this canal.

The boat was ,as usual,lovely- the layout and every detail perfect. But my husband ,suffering from various illnesses ,asbestosis being one of them,fell in on our first night,scarily stuck upside down for what seemed ages. Eventually got out,very weak,I couldn’t manage to help,we stayed moored next day,drying his clothes,the weather was bad so we decided we couldn’t cope any more and went back to the boatyard. I was so sad to have to do this,and a 5 hour drive back home was hard, But ,the boat and staff were excellent,only found the tiller very stiff but that wouldn’t have mattered ordinarily. Please don’t take any of this as a criticism- I/ we have used you for years- just age and illness( and weather!) beat us this time,but thank you for your part . X

I am possibly prejudiced by growing old and BAD weather. Nothing really wrong with the boat, apart from very poorly fitting doors, VERY draughty, this would not normally be a problem in May. Poor access to the boat for loading and unloading and then quite a walk to and from the carpark. Sadly I feel that this might be my last boating trip, old age means I can no longer do everything needed to work a boat safely and I enjoyed ALL parts of the experience. Also I think that this was the wettest week I've ever had in all the years I've been boating. I cannot hold ABC responsible for my age and the weather, it just changes the enjoyment factor of the holiday.

The weather was dreadful, wet and chilly. The tow path muddy meaning it was difficult to keep dry and warm despite it being May. I know it was out of your control, however it made it less enjoyable than expected. The only criticism of the boat was that the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Again I understand it was never going to be luxurious however a decent mattress would have given us a better nights sleep. (We have been on canal boats before and the beds were better) That said the instructions, facilities and equipment onboard the vessel were all very good and there was nothing wanting from this point of view. My only other viewpoint would be that we did have difficulty turning the boat around and I think turning circle locations and instructions could be relayed better. It was only the skill of one of our friends who has a wealth of experience with boating (Not canal boats mind you) that enabled us to manoeuvre the boat around. We did have a good time despite my grumbles. As stated the only thing that was really a problem, was the bed and my back is still suffering now.

My husband and I had a great time on the boat again! Would definitely do it again. Such a good way to see the world and you never know what's around the corner! We just need to decide where next...?

We've used ABC for several years now. Invariably a good experience. We 'd like to have been told about the possible hazards of the K&A and also the Thames itself as we said we were going to Windsor. We therefore didn't know there was a possibility of lock closure. We might have changed our plans if we'd known this could happen.

Amazing clean and comfortable such a relaxing break and quality time Wish prices were not so high I feel this must cause many people to miss out on a very special experience and that is a shame
