The staff were very helpful and friendly. They mapped out a route for us especially as we wanted to have a go at some locks . They were very clear and thorough with the handover of the boat and we felt that we could contact them at any time for support.

The boat and its workings/handling were well explained. Russ made me feel confident in my ability to captain the boat. The boat was clean, well outfitted and comfortable.

The people who work there are absolutely fabulous. Really helpful and supportive (of a first time nervous skipper). They absolutely cannot be faulted. The boats toilet however wasn't big enough for a hamster. You could not shut the door. Not great when you're with people you don't know extremely well! The boat, apart from that was fine. Basic but great for a day. The canal needs dredging as it was easy to get stuck on the mud, but it was a lovely day and the staff were fantastic.
