Great holiday, thoroughly enjoyed it. As experienced hirers we found the boat standard as expected for that type of hire boat. Great weather added to the experience. Customer service friendliness and information was a bit lacking from two individuals, on more than one occasion. The handover guy was knowledgeable and friendly.

I had this trip on a bucket list and all I can say is that it was a hugely wonderful perfect holiday and one that is up there with my top five holidays and everyone should go on a trip like this. It was so good. I wanted to steal the boat!!!!! Now I'm looking to buy one or at least a boat of some kind!!! Thankyou thankyou thankyou for a glorious week if perfection!

a first class narrow boat, very impressed with the accomadation particularly the shower rooms. Sleeping facilities were very comfortable.

Lovely holiday all round. Quiet and relaxed. Ideal break in covid Britain. The boat was well maintained. Gorgeous scenery.

The admin team were responsive to my mails.the on boarding staff were friendly and happy to spend as much time as you needed. The support during the holiday was also superb. The boat was clean and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

The boat was clean,comfortable with everything we needed. The staff were very helpful, due to our previous narrow boating experience they were happy to take us through the health & Safety briefs quickly and got us away within 1 hour of arrival

We had a great time on the Mons and Brec Canal trip. Amazing views and tranquil settings. The only reason for the lack of a fifth star was the boat was not 100% functional.

The boat was in very good condition, with everything we need on board.It was very clean. The staff at the marina were friendly and very helpful.

This was my 3rd trip with ABC. The staff were friendly and helpful as usual and of course the canals were beautiful as ever. However the boat I used this time ‘Iceland Gull’ was very tiredand quite shabby. The deck was rusty. It didn’t ruin our trip but I would have hoped for something a bit more up to date. The inside of the boat was cleaned to a fair standard but the outside hadn’t been cleaned at all and was quite dirty. We had to brush and mop ourselves. It won’t deter me from using ABC again but maybe next time I shall specially request One of the newer boats in the fleet.

Our first barging holiday. 4 days spent cruising from Wrenbury to Chirk on the Llangollen canal. Peaceful, restful, fabulous scenery and wildlife, topped off with amazing weather ☀️. A really smooth and informative booking from ABC Boat Hire and dedicated and helpful staff at the marina. We usually travel abroad in the summer however we may have got the boating bug !
