Great experience. Even the weather was kind. Never boated before but would love to do it again. Easy to operate the controls. Parking it was a bit of an art, but the using the locks was easy and good fun. Great family holiday. Great scenery. Shower was tiny on the boat, but we could have gone for a newer or larger boat. And it was just for a week so not an issue that troubled me much.

A well appointed almost new boat withe things like waterproofs supplied. The staff at Gayton Marina were very thorough with the handover and nothing was too much trouble. Although we are reasonably experienced boaters the person doing the final handover asked where we were heading and reversed the boat out without being asked. Our grandkids (aged 9 & 6) loved the experience and despite 'variable' weather we had a great time.

Had a fantastic time away, good handover being able to park car right beside the boat was a massive help. Everything on board you needed utensil wise, lots of cleaning products also

Fenders on the boat would be useful for when mooring against a hard edge. A second rubber mat would be useful so that we have one on both the front and rear decks.

We had a great time and the staff were great. We would definitely do it again. Now know what to bring next time.

Its probably my fault but to let two 60 year olds loose on a 58ft narrow boat was asking too much. Unless experienced I would say you need at least 4 able bodied people to navigate this boat properly.

Very enjoyable holiday as first time boaters. Boat was well equipped with only one or two issues: TV only worked once Front and rear ropes full of knots A fuel and water level gauge would be useful Details of water points on K&A Canal and Thames would be helpful in advance to aid planning We would definitely book again.

The whole holiday was superb., considering the COVID situation all staff and the boat where perfect, we will do it again next year

We had an amazing first canal boat holiday , staff explained everything we needed to know and answered all questions . We will definitely be doing this again.

Had a great week, everything we needed was on the boat for a very comfortable week of cruising. Handover was not that great due to being busy at that time and the social distancing measures.

Great holiday, thoroughly enjoyed it. As experienced hirers we found the boat standard as expected for that type of hire boat. Great weather added to the experience. Customer service friendliness and information was a bit lacking from two individuals, on more than one occasion. The handover guy was knowledgeable and friendly.
