I’ve sent a number of emails regarding some property I left and the balance on the fuel . No reply received On returning to marina accused of passing a moored boat too fast the previous day. Not correct and to bring something like this up at the end of the holiday was pathetic and unnecessary.

Thank you for your feedback. I have checked with Anderton Marina and they have not received any emails from you regarding lost property; they also confirmed that if they had found any items on board after you returned to the Marina that they would have contacted you. If we do receive complaints from boaters about our customers we do need to address them either by contacting them during the holiday or once they have returned to the Marina. We hope you enjoyed your holiday and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Remarks by two regular canal hire boat users forty years plus experience Much improved Heads Excellent beds Utilities good Overall layout good but much wall space could be used for storage especially in berths Why lose space with out of date maps of a canal system when shelves and a slim cupboard would be better use of the space? Staff helpful and informative Unusual intermittent engine problem Cleanliness of some crockery dubious Storage needs rethink

Great boat (only 6 months old) so in really nice condition. Comfortable and clean. Llangollen canal brilliant with only a couple of locks either way (although getting into Llangollen when busy would be interesting as there are a couple of one-way sections). We had a brilliant week with friends stopping in Chirk, Llangollen and Ellesmere. Absolutely recommend the location and ABC boat hire @ Whitchurch.

As always the ABC staff were really cheerful, friendly and efficient. Also as boat wasn’t out the day before, they let us pick it up a little early.

Our third holiday on this class of vessel, layout ideally suited to our needs (two couples) and Boat very well equipped. Enjoyed first trip on Kennet & Avon in glorious weather and very scenic. Would have welcomed better instruction re mooring on return, other than that the handover was very good and thorough.
