We had an amazing holiday travelling from Whitchurch Marina to Llangollen and back. The boat was spotless and very well equipped. The staff at the Marina were all excellent and the Llangollen Canal is beautiful with plenty to see and do along the way. We can’t wait to book again with ABC and the Whitchurch Marina. We’re all really sad to leave Grays Lark behind 😢 but will be back soon 😀

As we have had this style of boat before we had a quick efficient handover and was able to set off and get to our preferred mooring in plenty of time for dinner at the big lock.

A decent sized en suiite and a super electric loo. The galley was really clean and well equipped. The glass chopping board blunted knives so it's to take your own.

A four night passage enabled a return trip to Trevor from Whitchurch, which encompassed passage through lift bridges, lock passage, tunnels and aqueducts. This gave the family plenty of canal boat experience (but not too much hard work), whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the Llangollen canal. The boat had all we needed for a family holiday and was a home from home.

The boat and the service was ok. However we lost our WiFi on Wednesday. We were promised a new code, but we got no further contact. Neither our own efforts to call Anderton succeeded.

Thank you for your feedback. Our WiFi is only really suitable for general browsing and emails, things such as watching videos or streaming can cause the allowance to run out. We have spoken to the manager at Anderton who has said that your message may have not been passed on to the staff who could have issued you with a new code. We are looking at ways to improve our WiFi service in the future. I hope you were still able to enjoy your holiday despite this, and we hope to see you again soon.

All the little touches really helped make the holiday; not having to bring towels and bedding as it was all supplied, immaculately clean boat was a real home from home, staff were friendly and helpful. This was our first boating holiday as a family and we are utterly hooked. We will definitely be boating again and can recommend ABC wholeheartedly. Thank you so much for our magical holiday!

The whole system is very slick with knowledgeable and very friendly people at every turn. Access through the boat was a bit tight but not really much you can do in such a small space. The step in half bath is brilliant. Thanks to one and all.
