Good well equipped boat, not sure the wider bed option was for us only used first night easier just to sleep on ready made double and heating didn't seem to get warm enough for the cold nights we had. As for the trip we really enjoyed it as it was a one way move we liked the challenge of navigating our way on some canals we had not been on before overall a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, looking forward to next one.

Had a great time, the weather helped as it was sunny most days. The canal was quiet, rarely encountering any other boats which suited us as it was our first time aboard a longboat and passing other boats in narrow areas or on bends can be daunting at first.

Good value for money. Well equipped, clean boat. Prompt response to alternator failure. Fantastic week of weather gave our first-time shipmates a brilliant introduction to boating.

Due to the condition of the canal and lack of suitable moorings. Private boats seemed to monopolise the moorings, particularly at Bradford on Avon, which would have been an ideal initial overnight stay. Moorings not available as indicated in the Canal Companion which we relied on after a late start on the first day. As a first visit on the Kennet and Avon canal we did not know where other moorings would be available. Having a plank to access the bank is not particularly helpful for people with limited mobility or as in our case a Guide Dog puppy and an ex Guide Dog. We had initially booked for October but due to the disappointing conditions have cancelled in favour of the Llangollen Canal.

We both had a fabulous time on the Mon & Brec, the staff at Goytre Wharf were friendly and helpful. We travelled from Goytre to Brecon and came back to the turning point at bridge 57 before returning the boat back to Goytre. The canal is a very pretty canal with lots of wildlife to enjoy. We were very lucky with the weather. Also there were plenty of pubs along the way, and mooring alongside was very easy. We look forward to another trip along this canal.

Great facilities, great boat and great customer service. Really one of the best long weekends I've ever had - just incredibly relaxing and such a good way to catch up with a large group of friends. Highly recommend!

We had a great holiday and had great weather which allowed us to make the most of the experience. The boat worked perfectly throughout and the furnishings were up to standard. It was warm and comfortable apart from early mornings when we had frost and had to await the return of the heating driven by the engine. Not having read all the instructions we were unable to use the tv but this was no loss. The one complaint which I mentioned on returning the boat was that the wifi was not fit for purpose. It worked sporadically and then we had to try to restart it we had to put all the details back in again. Most frustrating as when we left the boat we could run off 4G with no problem. The holiday converted my daughters partner, who had never had a boating holiday before to start looking for a boat so I think we might be back!
